Jesta Group Acquires Fox Mobile Group from News Corporation


New York, NY, December 22, 2010 – Jesta Group (http://www.jesta.com) today announced the acquisition of Fox Mobile Group (FMG) from News Corporation. A leading global entertainment provider, FMG includes such well-known consumer brands as Jamba, Jamster, Mobizzo and iLove, as well as Bitbop, a mobile video service and entertainment platform launched in the U.S. in early 2010. FMG, which will be renamed and become a part of Jesta Mobile Holdings, is co-headquartered in Berlin, Germany, and Beverly Hills, California, and operates in North America, Europe, South America and Australia.

Allen & Company LLC served as financial advisor to News Corporation on the transaction.
The transaction was completed on December 22, 2010. Financial details were not disclosed.

René La Taupe Receives Gold Record for Mignon Mignon Single


Berlin, December 16, 2010René La Taupe has now officially received his first gold record in France, signifying sales of 200.000 digital and physical units of his first hit single Mignon Mignon (Engl.: Yummy Yummy). Initially released in August 2010, the song ranked on No. 1 at the official French CD Single Charts (Disqueenfrance.com, SNEP) for 13 weeks. On YouTube the single has been viewed more than 16 million times.

René La Taupe was created in the Fox Mobile Group studios in partnership with Famties Production. The aim was to create a product with an entertaining character that was both funny and outspoken. After starting life as a ring tone, René quickly became popular around the world. The song is available in 6 different languages.

René discusses everyday problems in his inimitable way and gives everyone a chance to laugh and feel better about themselves and their problems. In Autumn 2010 the next single Tu Parles Trop (Engl.: You Talk Too Much) has been successfully released and hit No. 3 in the French CD Single Charts. A full album followed, including new songs such as Bonjour, Ding Dong and Salade de Pets as well as his successful hit singles, Mignon Mignon and Tu Parles Trop. The album also features exclusive Christmas songs including Petit Papa Noël and Kado de Noël.
